About The Position

The IMA Group is seeking a Licensed Psychologist in Houston to conduct psychological disability evaluations as an independent contractor, in a hybrid setting. This is a diagnostic, assessment-only role — no therapy, no treatment plans, no ongoing patient management. The role offers flexibility with hours and the number of evaluations taken on, with no minimum commitment. It provides strong administrative and tech support, with a streamlined electronic reporting system, and focuses on evaluation-only practice without caseload management. The Government Services Division supports local, state, and federal agencies, delivering professional and objective medical and psychological examinations. The Payer Services Division meets the evaluation and screening needs of Carriers, TPAs, Public Entities and Employers. The Clinical Research Division performs clinical trials through a nationwide network.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology
• Active Texas Psychologist license
• Experience administering and interpreting psychological assessments
• Ability to evaluate patients ages 4 and up

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological disability evaluations, including MSEs and psychological testing
• Assess cognitive, emotional, and functional abilities relevant to disability determinations
• Complete electronic reports using IMA's documentation system
