About The Position

The IMA Group is seeking a Licensed Psychologist in Houston to conduct psychological disability evaluations as an independent contractor, in a hybrid setting. This is a diagnostic, assessment-only role — no therapy, no treatment plans, no ongoing patient management. This role offers flexibility with hours and the ability to choose the number of evaluations to conduct, with no minimum commitment. The position involves conducting psychological disability evaluations, including Mental Status Examinations (MSEs) and psychological testing, to assess cognitive, emotional, and functional abilities relevant to disability determinations. Reports are completed electronically using IMA's documentation system.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology
• Active Texas Psychologist license
• Experience administering and interpreting psychological assessments
• Ability to evaluate patients ages 4 and up

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological disability evaluations, including MSEs and psychological testing
• Assess cognitive, emotional, and functional abilities relevant to disability determinations
• Complete electronic reports using IMA's documentation system
