About The Position

Adelphi is seeking Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs) to provide services to students at schools in Plano, Texas. The ideal candidates will provide counseling and mental health support to help students address emotional, behavioral, social, and academic challenges.

Requirements

• Valid and unrestricted Texas Licensed Professional Counselor credential
• Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, or a related behavioral health field
• Experience providing counseling services to children and adolescents

Nice To Haves

• School-based or pediatric behavioral health experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct student screenings, assessments, and counseling evaluations.
• Provide individual and group counseling based on identified student needs.
• Develop and implement individualized counseling and intervention plans.
• Support students experiencing behavioral, emotional, social, or academic difficulties.
• Provide crisis intervention and assist with safety planning when appropriate.
• Collaborate with families, teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in ARD/IEP, Section 504, and student-support meetings as assigned.
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and FERPA-compliant records.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
