Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
About The Position
The Licensed Professional Counselor will work with a regular caseload of clients in Mississippi, providing individual counseling throughout the week. Clients may be experiencing anxiety, stress, relationship concerns, major life changes, or other issues affecting their daily lives. The counselor listens to clients, understands their concerns, and provides appropriate counseling based on their needs. The role also includes maintaining clinical records, following up on important concerns, and referring clients to additional services when necessary. This is a remote, full-time position with a Monday–Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The stated salary range is $115,000–$120,000 per year.
Requirements
- Active Licensed Professional Counselor license in Mississippi.
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
- Experience providing therapy or counseling services.
- Strong communication, documentation, and time management skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct scheduled one-on-one counseling sessions by video.
- Review client history and discuss current concerns.
- Guide therapy sessions based on the issues being addressed.
- Help clients develop practical ways to manage difficult situations.
- Maintain accurate and current clinical notes.
- Follow up on changes that may require additional attention.
- Follow Mississippi LPC licensing and practice requirements.
- Refer clients to additional services when necessary.
