About The Position

CorrectHealth has an exciting opportunity to join our growing team as a PRN Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) /Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Gretna, LA. CorrectHealth is a multi-disciplinary medical organization that provides high quality, cost-effective, comprehensive healthcare inside the walls of correctional facilities. Requirements

• Masters Degree in Social Work or Counseling. (Required)
• Experience with Alcohol/drug population.
• Familiarity with multicultural groups and work setting.
• Experience or Familiarity with chronically mentally ill
• License as Clinical Social Worker or LPC in state of employment. (Required)
• LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker)
• LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor)
• LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker)

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to individuals needing social and human services providing services in the fields of medical, mental health and public health as well as case management.
• Coordinating all psychosocial community services under the general direction of the Clinical Psychologist/Psychiatrist.
• In accordance with policies procedures and protocols established by industry standards of practice and licensing and certificate and other regulatory agencies requirements.
• Responsible for implementing community educational programs assessing problems and determining appropriate types and methods of treatment and implementing intervention methodologies.
