About The Position
The Remote Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) provides evidence-based behavioral health services through telehealth platforms. This role conducts assessments, develops treatment plans, and delivers therapy services while ensuring compliance with DBHDS, DMAS, and HIPAA standards.
Requirements
- Active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia
- Master’s degree in Counseling or related field
- Ability to meet DBHDS and background requirements
Nice To Haves
- Clinical experience preferred
- Experience with Medicaid (DMAS)
- Knowledge of DBHDS regulations
- Telehealth experience
- Familiarity with EHR systems
Responsibilities
- Conduct biopsychosocial assessments via telehealth
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy
- Utilize evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care)
- Deliver services through HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Participate in team meetings and interdisciplinary collaboration
