About The Position

MTC Care is hiring an in-person Licensed Professional Counselor to provide behavioral health services in long-term care facilities in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area. The role focuses on serving adults and/or seniors, including patients with severe persistent mental illness, through individual and group psychotherapy, screenings, treatment planning, and collaboration with facility teams. The position offers an established caseload, dedicated clinical and support staff, and no administrative burden. Requirements

• Master's degree in Social Work.
• Licensed Professional Counselor with the ability to practice and bill independently.
• Active license to practice in the state(s) where MTC Care operates.
• Significant experience treating adults and/or seniors, particularly patients exhibiting severe persistent mental illness.
• Strong communication skills and cultural humility.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a seasoned social work consultant in long-term care facilities.
• Provide individual and group psychotherapy sessions.
• Complete mood- and symptom-based screenings.
• Develop individualized treatment plans for adults and/or seniors.
• Provide in-service education.
• Collaborate with facility staff and consult with interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate, compliant documentation.
