About The Position

Aveanna is hiring an LPN/LVN to provide compassionate home nursing care to an adult patient in Augusta, Georgia. The patient has low-acuity needs, including a feeding tube and noninvasive mechanical ventilation. The role is scheduled Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Nurses work with the care team to support outstanding clinical outcomes. Aveanna provides 24/7 local support from operators and clinicians, and a tablet in the patient’s home for electronic documentation. Benefit eligibility may vary based on employment status and location.

Requirements

• Maintain an active, unencumbered LPN/LVN license in the state where practicing; compact licenses must be transferred to the state of residence within 90 days.
• Current CPR certification with a hands-on component; Aveanna may assist in obtaining this after hire if necessary.
• Current TB skin test, completed within the last 12 months.
• Reliable transportation.
• In Georgia, one year of nursing experience is required.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of prior hands-on nursing experience is preferred where not otherwise required.
