About The Position
Generations at Applewood is growing and has openings for experienced Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs). This is a beautiful 24-hour rehabilitation and skilled nursing community offering quality healthcare services. The facility features a 30-bed short-term rehab-to-home unit and longer-term care units. The responsibilities of the LPN are consistent with those of Skilled Nursing Facilities in Illinois.
Requirements
- Current LPN license from the State of Illinois
- Experience using Point Click Care (PCC)
- Strong organizational and time management skills; detail oriented
- Exceptional critical thinking skills
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality, in compliance with HIPAA standards
- Must have compassion, tolerance and understanding for older adults
Nice To Haves
- Documentation a PLUS!
- Previous experience in a Short or Long-Term Care facility or LTACH preferred
