About The Position
Sugar Loaf Senior Living, a Lifespark Senior Living Community in Winona, Minnesota, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse. The community provides assisted living and memory care services in an 80-unit, apartment-style setting. The LPN is responsible for directing, coordinating, and evaluating nursing care and services provided to residents and tenants under the direction of the Director of Health Services. The position maintains quality care consistent with company and regulatory standards and individual care plans. The schedule is every Wednesday plus rotating weekends, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Valid state licensure as an LPN or RN.
- Ability to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, residents’ families, and employees.
- Advanced computer skills, including email use.
Nice To Haves
- Restorative or geriatric nursing experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and perform rounds to monitor and evaluate the quality and appropriateness of nursing care.
- Take responsibility for and ensure proper completion and documentation of care, medications, and treatments.
- Support the Director of Health Services with the written staffing plan and nursing schedule, reflecting the needs of the resident and tenant population.
