About The Position
Join the cardiology clinic team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), providing care to patients in general cardiology, electrophysiology, and vascular surgery. The clinic sees up to 22 patients per day. Floating is limited to the cardiology clinic. New hires complete a facility orientation followed by 3–4 days of side-by-side training with an experienced nurse. Travelers must live more than 100 miles from the facility; first-time travelers are welcome with any type of clinic experience. Permanent staff must wait one full year before returning as travelers. Requests for time off may be considered upon contract extension for a total of 13 weeks for any full week off. Requests for December 31 to January 4 have been approved.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of clinic experience.
- Specific cardiology experience.
- Current BLS certification.
- Completion of a nursing education program approved by a board of nursing.
- Experience with Epic charting.
- Travelers must reside more than 100 miles from the facility.
