About The Position
Monte Nido Laurel Hill is a residential treatment program in Medford, Massachusetts, for adults seeking treatment for anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, or exercise addiction. Its treatment approach focuses on restoring physiological and nutritional balance, establishing healthy eating and exercise routines, eliminating harmful behaviors, and developing motivation and treatment engagement. The program aims to help clients understand their disorder and its effects, and identify what they need for personal recovery. Monte Nido is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join its nursing team. Pay is $37.15–$51.35 per hour, depending on education and experience. The position is onsite.
Requirements
- Active Practical Nurse license, or eligibility for licensure.
- Active CPR/BLS certification before starting work.

- Experience in residential or inpatient behavioral health and mental health settings.
- Past work with people overcoming eating disorders.
Responsibilities
- Obtain and record client vital signs as needed.
- Monitor and report unusual client behavior.
- Coordinate pre-admission medical clearances.
- Administer medication.
- Document promptly and properly.
- Liaise with medical staff.
- Model healthy eating habits when working during mealtimes.
