About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will plan and manage patient care according to each patient’s needs. This role involves interviewing patients, recording medical history and physical condition, obtaining vital signs, and providing routine care. The LPN will observe patients' health, review medical charts, and assist physicians. Responsibilities also include preparing specimens for lab couriers, administering medications and injections, providing wound care, and ensuring patient comfort. This position is with The Dermatology and Skin Cancer Center (DSCC), a leading dermatology provider in Monmouth County known for excellent patient care in medical, cosmetic, pediatric, and surgical dermatology.

Requirements

Completion of state approved training program (generally in the form of a diploma, certificate, or associate degree)
LPN license (pass NCLEX-PN exam)
BLS certification
1-2 years recent nursing experience
