About The Position
This is a full-time nursing position serving as a clinical resource and delivering high-quality resident care. The nurse is responsible for the nursing care of assigned residents in accordance with nursing facility and nursing service policies and procedures. Day and night shifts are available.
Requirements
- Current and valid LPN nursing license for the state of Illinois.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Computer literacy.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to assigned residents in accordance with facility and nursing service policies and procedures.
- Recognize changes in residents’ conditions and notify the attending physician and family when a resident becomes ill or is injured.
- Supervise resident-care personnel.
- Prepare and administer medications and treatments.
- Chart medications and treatments according to procedure.
- Ensure rehabilitative nursing procedures are performed.
