About The Position

Latham Medical Group, a family medicine practice within Community Care Physicians, is seeking an enthusiastic Licensed Practical Nurse to join its team. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with no nights or weekends, and a flexible schedule intended to support work-life balance. The role is eligible for up to a $3,500 recruitment and retention bonus. Compensation is $26.00–$33.00 per hour, with individual pay based on experience, qualifications, and skills. Some roles may be eligible for overtime pay. Requirements

Valid New York State LPN license.
Previous LPN experience in a medical practice, or prior experience as a Medical Assistant or Patient Care Technician.
Strong computer skills and experience using an EMR.
Knowledge of basic nursing principles and protocols.
Knowledge of policies and procedures related to infection control, environmental safety, and patient confidentiality.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion.
Knowledge of medical chart reporting and records.
Skill in appropriate assessment and assistance techniques.

Responsibilities

Administer and record vaccines.
Document verbal conversations with patients when appropriate.
Enter information into patient records accurately, legibly, and promptly.
Maintain timely patient flow.
Prepare patients for visits as appropriate based on office and provider requirements.
Obtain patient specimens, such as urine or blood, as directed by the provider.
Enter orders into the laboratory system accurately and promptly.
Perform clinical office procedures as directed by the provider, including PFTs, EKGs, nebulizer treatments, medication administration, and immunizations.
Process patient prescriptions.
Discuss test results with patients according to provider instructions.
