Licensed Practical Nurse LPN - Observation
About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring clinical competence within the scope of practice and in accordance with state requirements. In collaboration with the healthcare team and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the LPN helps maintain safety, provide patient comfort and care, and improve the overall patient experience in the MST setting. The position is in the Observation Unit at Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. It is a full-time day position with 12-hour shifts and alternating weekends. A $7,500 sign-on bonus is available to qualified candidates; eligibility and payout terms apply and are discussed during the interview process.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license.
- IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification within 90 days of hire.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintained thereafter.
Nice To Haves
- Work experience in health care is preferred.
