About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring clinical competence within the scope of practice and in accordance with state requirements. In collaboration with the healthcare team and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the LPN works to maintain safety, provide patient comfort and care, and improve the overall patient experience in the MST setting. This is a full-time, day-shift position in the Observation Unit at Resurrection Medical Center, with 12-hour shifts and alternating weekends.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license.
• IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification within 90 days of hire.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current certification.

• Work experience in health care is preferred.
