About The Position
Advantage Nursing Services is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses to provide one-on-one home care to children and adults in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. Nurses provide compassionate care in patients’ homes in accordance with the physician’s care plan. No pediatric or home care experience is required. Full-time, part-time, and PRN hours are available, with day or night shifts from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. or 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Requirements
- Active Illinois nursing license.
- Current CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one patient care.
- Provide nursing care in accordance with the physician’s care plan of treatment.
- Monitor the patient’s condition and compose patient charts.
- Assist the patient with daily activities.
- Take and record vital signs.
- Provide caregiver relief.
