About The Position

This role involves assisting in determining and providing medical/psychiatric nursing care and treatment for patients at Oregon State Hospital, under the supervision of the RN. Responsibilities include administering medications, completing focused assessments, and responding to emergent psychiatric situations. The position also contributes to maintaining a safe and secure environment and the therapeutic milieu.

Requirements

• Possess a valid Oregon Practical Nurse License at the time of appointment.
• Experience working in mental health
• Experience in conflict and crisis management
• Strong leadership skills
• Experience in milieu management
• Ability to manage multiple job responsibilities at one time
• Satisfactorily pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Complete I-9 documentation and confirm authorization to work in the United States.
