About The Position

TK Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join its healthcare team at the David L. Moss Criminal Justice Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The LPN provides nursing care based on individual patient needs and performs dependent and independent nursing functions within the scope of practical nursing. Care is provided under the direction and delegation of a Registered Nurse and in accordance with established nursing standards, policies, and procedures. This is a full-time night-shift position with 8-hour shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM and rotating weekends. The role is based in a secure correctional healthcare setting, where nurses provide hands-on care to an underserved patient population and work with a supportive healthcare team. New graduates are welcome to apply, and correctional healthcare experience is not required. A $3,500 sign-on bonus is available, paid in two installments: $1,750 after six months of employment and $1,750 after 12 months. Vaccines are not mandatory. Employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of required background screening.

Requirements

Current, valid, and unrestricted Oklahoma LPN license.
Current CPR certification.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
Ability to successfully complete required background screening.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to patients.
Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
Perform nursing assessments and assist with ongoing patient care.
Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
Accurately document nursing care and patient information.
Communicate and collaborate with nursing, medical, and facility staff.
Follow established healthcare policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
Provide professional and compassionate care within a correctional healthcare setting.
