The Medical Surgical Department at North Alabama Shoals Hospital offers LPNS a supportive, patient-focused environment where teamwork and high-quality care are at the center of everything they do. Requirements

• Current state LPN license
• Basic Life Support certification is required within 14 days of hire.
• Requires one year of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies medical surgical needs
• Perform post operative assessments
• Perform wound care
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Multidisciplinary Collaborations
