Licensed Practical Nurse
About The Position
PrimeCare Medical, Inc. is looking for enthusiastic and hard-working Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to work in the medical department at the Indiana County Jail in Indiana, PA. New grads are welcome to apply. This role involves delivering nursing care in accordance with PCM Policies and Procedures, ensuring compliance with established nursing standards and scope of practice limitations. The LPN will also function as Charge Nurse in the absence of the Head Nurse or Assistant Head Nurse, provide comprehensive nursing care while observing and maintaining security requirements, and perform duties under the supervision of an RN pursuant to protocols established by the Medical Director.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing.
- Licensed to practice nursing in the state in which the facility is located.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to function under supervision.
- Demonstrate clinical competency.
