About The Position
PrimeCare Medical, Inc. is seeking enthusiastic and hard-working Licensed Practical Nurses to work in the medical department at the Indiana County Jail in Indiana, Pennsylvania. Full-time evening, full-time night, and full-time mixed evening and night shifts are available. A $7,500 sign-on bonus is offered for full-time employees. The LPN delivers nursing care in accordance with PrimeCare Medical policies and procedures, established nursing standards, and scope-of-practice limitations. The position provides comprehensive nursing care while observing and maintaining security requirements, and performs duties under the supervision of an RN pursuant to protocols established by the Medical Director. The listed salary is $27.00–$30.50 per hour, with the highest shift differential. Additional compensation may include overtime pay, shift and weekend differentials, premium holiday pay, sign-on bonuses, and employee referral bonuses.
Requirements
- Be licensed as a Practical Nurse in Pennsylvania.
- Be able to communicate effectively.
- Be able to function under supervision.
- Demonstrate clinical competency.
Responsibilities
- Deliver nursing care in accordance with PrimeCare Medical policies and procedures.
- Ensure nursing practice complies with established nursing standards and scope-of-practice limitations.
- Function as Charge Nurse in the absence of the Head Nurse or Assistant Head Nurse.
- Provide comprehensive nursing care while observing and maintaining security requirements.
- Perform duties under RN supervision pursuant to protocols established by the Medical Director.
