Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
About The Position
Rite of Passage is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Les Peters Youth Academy in St. Petersburg, Florida. The academy is a moderate-risk residential commitment program for female youth ages 14 to 19, providing comprehensive care, treatment, supervision, and evidence-based intensive mental health services, including individual, family, and group counseling. As an LPN, you will help create a positive, safe, and supportive environment for the youth served. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to the organization's mission of helping young people become successful adults while building a career with growth opportunities. The position pays up to $27.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Possess a current Licensed Practical Nursing credential from the state of Florida.
- Strong clinical and analytical skills in assessing and addressing challenging behaviors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to adapt and customize behavior intervention programs to meet each individual's needs.
- Possess a current state driver's license and insurance.
- Pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and TB test.
- Pass a search of the child abuse central registry.
