About The Position

UVA Imaging is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic, compassionate individual who is a strong communicator to join an energetic, patient-focused team! Are you passionate about patient care? Do you love interacting with people? Come and join our team as an LPN for a Part-Time position, 7:00 AM-5:00 PM, two days/week at our outpatient imaging center located in Zion Crossroads, VA. Responsibilities include preparing patients for CT and MRI examinations by conducting thorough safety screenings and initiating IV access. The role also involves assisting radiologists with emergent patient care as needed. We hold our employees in high regard as the key component to our success. Requirements

• Minimum 1 year as a LPN in a clinical setting
• Must be a graduate of an approved LPN program.
• Must meet the state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice.
• BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to work independently and multitask under the direction of a RN or licensed independent practitioner.
• Ability to manage medical emergencies and/or contrast reactions under the direction of a licensed independent practitioner.
• Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely.
