About The Position

UVA Imaging is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic, compassionate individual who is a strong communicator to join an energetic, patient-focused team. This Part-Time LPN position, 7:00 AM-5:00 PM, two days/week, is located at their outpatient imaging center in Zion Crossroads, VA. UVA Imaging's mission is to provide each patient with quality, personalized care in a comfortable setting while offering referring physicians imaging services that accommodate their most specific needs. Requirements

• Minimum 1 year as a LPN in a clinical setting
• Must be a graduate of an approved LPN program
• Must meet the state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice
• BLS certification required within 60 days of hire
• Ability to work independently and multitask under the direction of a RN or licensed independent practitioner
• Ability to manage medical emergencies and/or contrast reactions under the direction of a licensed independent practitioner
• Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely

Responsibilities

• Preparing patients for CT and MRI examinations by conducting thorough safety screenings and initiating IV access
• Assisting radiologists with emergent patient care as needed
