About The Position
Brookdale is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide resident care in a 5 Star Community. Available schedules include full-time weekday shifts from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. or 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., both Monday through Friday with no weekends; the 2 p.m. shift includes a $4 shift differential. A Baylor weekend schedule is also offered from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., working 24 hours and being paid for 30 hours. PRN shifts are available across shifts, with differentials on evenings, nights, and weekends. The role includes monitoring residents’ care in accordance with physician-prescribed treatment plans, documenting responses to care, administering medications, and supporting residents’ physical, social, and psychological environment. Requirements
- LPN or LVN license required, as specified by state regulations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining a physical, social, and psychological environment in the best interest of residents.
- Monitor resident care according to physician-prescribed treatment plans and document responses to care plans.
- Administer medications.
- Ensure the cleanliness and security of the medicine supply room.
- Adhere to company systems, procedures, and processes.
