About The Position
Pleasantview Nursing Center is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work in both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. This role involves working in conjunction with the Unit Director to develop and implement individualized Nursing Care Plans, ensuring patient needs are met. The LPN will also assist in the orientation and supervision of nursing personnel, manage the daily operations of the unit per shift, and assume leadership responsibilities as needed.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school for Practical or Vocational Nursing.
- Currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in geriatric or rehabilitative Nursing is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Utilize a general understanding of nursing principles in the development and implementation of individualized Nursing Care Plans.
- Ensure patient needs are met.
- Assist in the orientation and supervision of nursing personnel.
- Attend to the daily operations of the unit on a per-shift, unit level.
- Assume responsibilities of a leadership role as needed.
