About The Position
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long-Term Care. This is a 13-week contract position for the evening shift in Painted Post, NY. The role involves providing high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, administering medications and treatments, observing and reporting changes in residents' conditions, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure exceptional resident care. Accurate and timely documentation, along with adherence to facility policies, safety standards, and state regulations, are essential.
Requirements
- Current and valid NY State LPN license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of 1 year experience in long-term care nursing preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Observe, assess, and report changes in residents' conditions.
- Work closely with RNs, providers, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure exceptional resident care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Follow all facility policies, safety standards, and state regulations.
