About The Position

Silverado is hiring a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide clinical support and heartfelt care to residents living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other memory-impairing conditions. The role combines medical skill, empathy, and relationship-building to help residents live with dignity and joy. The nurse serves as a liaison between residents, families, and physicians; supports residents with clinical needs and daily living activities; monitors health and documents care; and helps maintain a safe, respectful, engaging environment. This is a part-time PM-shift position at Silverado Frederick, with a schedule of Sunday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday, including every other weekend and Tuesday/Friday as specified in the posting.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Vocational Nursing program.
• Active LVN/LPN license.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Able to walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working around animals and pets.
