About The Position

Innovative Wound Solutions is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide mobile wound care treatments in patients’ homes in Northern Arizona, specifically Prescott Valley, Verde Valley, and Cottonwood. The LPN performs treatments under a plan of care established by a Nurse Practitioner. The role offers schedule flexibility, autonomy, and opportunities for growth.

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse license in Arizona.
• Home Health experience or similar.
• Valid Arizona driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance.
• Experience with wound care and willingness to be trained in UltraMist technology.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to patient locations.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform UltraMist wound care treatments according to the plan of care provided by the supervising Nurse Practitioner.
• Remove and reapply appropriate wound care dressings according to the plan of care.
• Document treatment sessions accurately and thoroughly.
• Communicate effectively with the supervising Nurse Practitioner about patient progress and concerns.
• Educate patients and caregivers on wound care management as appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards.
