DaVita Kidney Care
Onsite

About The Position

DaVita is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide care in an outpatient dialysis center. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of patients and their families dealing with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease, by delivering empathetic and compassionate care. DaVita, meaning "giving life," is committed to providing quality service and being the Provider, Partner, and Employer of Choice. No prior dialysis experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided, potentially at a facility or training clinic different from the assigned home clinic. The position involves building meaningful, long-term relationships with patients and their families in an intimate outpatient setting, working as part of a supportive team. LPNs will deliver care to patients who often have multiple co-morbidities, requiring unique treatment plans and the application of a broad range of nursing skills and knowledge. The role is described as a fast-paced environment where you will work with your head, heart, and hands daily. DaVita is recognized as a clinical leader, with a high percentage of facilities meeting or exceeding CMS's standards in key performance programs. Teammates are expected to commit to improving patient health through clinical goal setting and quality improvement initiatives. DaVita is a comprehensive kidney care provider focused on transforming care to improve the quality of life for patients globally, with over 20 years of leadership in clinical quality and innovation. The company works to increase equitable access to care for patients at every stage of their kidney health journey, from slowing disease progression to streamlining transplant processes, and from acute hospital care to dialysis at home. As of March 31, 2022, DaVita served 200,800 patients at 2,809 outpatient dialysis centers in the U.S. and an additional 346 centers in 11 other countries.
