About The Position
Wood Aven Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join their team. The role involves monitoring patient conditions, assessing needs, and providing compassionate nursing care. The LVN will collaborate with physicians and other nurses to develop individualized care plans, perform routine procedures like taking blood pressure and administering injections, and maintain patient charts. Adjusting and administering medications and treatments as per physician orders is also a key responsibility. Requirements
- LVN License is required.
- Prior experience preferred but new grads are welcomed!
Responsibilities
- Monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care.
- Provide nursing care in a caring and compassionate manner.
- Collaborate with physicians and other nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients.
- Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patients’ charts.
- Adjust and administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according to physician’s orders.
