About The Position

Parkview Behavioral Health (PBH) is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their inpatient team. PBH focuses on changing lives during moments of crisis and helping patients find their path forward. This role offers opportunities to develop clinical judgment and communication skills in a fast-paced, meaningful environment. The facility includes four adult units (55 beds) and one youth unit (34 beds), serving individuals aged 18+ and 5-17 respectively. Admissions are for acute inpatient care with typical stays of three to seven days. PBH emphasizes a growing GME program, psychiatric residency rounding, exposure to diverse psychiatric conditions, and critical thinking development. The role involves working in a multidisciplinary team with physicians, nurse practitioners, therapists, social workers, and behavioral health specialists, focusing on whole-person care. LPNs will support patients through acute mental health crises, help stabilize them, and empower them for success beyond the facility, making meaningful connections to aid their wellness journey.

Requirements

• Must be a graduate of a school of nursing.
• Must complete General Orientation, Patient Care Orientation, and unit specific orientation as provided and required.
• Valid Licensed Practice Nurse License required for the State where services will be provided.
• Must have current CPR certification.
• Demonstrate experience in customer service, establishing priorities, and working independently.
• Must have good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and assist with 100 lbs.
