About The Position
Avenues Recovery Center is a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehab centers with eighteen locations across seven states. They offer the highest standard of medical and clinical treatment, including detox, residential, PHP IOP, and outpatient services. Avenues is both JCAHO and CARF accredited, and in full compliance with all ASAM standards. The center is seeking compassionate professionals to join their team, specifically LPNs for Daytime and Overnight shifts at their facility in Baton Rouge, LA.
Requirements
- Minimum one year diploma program post - high school
- Current licensure necessary to practice in-state, or compact licensure with multistate privileges
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented, efficient worker with ability to multitask
- Compassionate, dignified character which models recovery principles
Responsibilities
- Provide quality medical care for each client throughout admission, treatment and discharge
- Coordinate all pharmacy and prescription needs, dispense medication, and keep clear med logs
- Collaborate with extended medical, clinical and UR teams to ensure total coordination of care
- Maintain meticulous medical documentation, tracking and reporting for each client
- Provide patient education in individual and group settings
