About The Position
This role involves delivering hands-on nursing care in a long-term care setting, including medication administration, treatments, and routine assessments. The Licensed Practical Nurse will support Registered Nurses by monitoring resident conditions and promptly reporting any changes. A key aspect of this role is building consistent, trusting relationships with residents and their families. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, compassionate, and committed to resident safety and comfort.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
