Requirements

Current, valid Pennsylvania LPN license
Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent education
Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compassion for older adults and individuals requiring skilled nursing care
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team

Responsibilities

Providing compassionate nursing care to residents
Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
Assessing resident needs and monitoring changes in condition
Developing and updating individualized care plans with the healthcare team
Communicating changes in resident condition to physicians, providers, and representatives
Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
Working closely with residents, families, nursing assistants, and other healthcare professionals
Supervising and supporting nursing assistants and other care team members
Helping create a safe, respectful, and positive environment for residents
Bringing compassion, dignity, and joy to the people served
