Mosaic in Grand Island is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their healthcare team. Requirements

• BSN or ASN from an accredited nursing program.
• Active Nebraska nursing license in good standing, valid driver's license required.
• At least 1-2 year of general nursing experience.
• Current CPR and First Aid (FA) certification.
• Proficiency with computers and technology is required for daily documentation and task management.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift at least 50 lbs.
• Strong critical thinking, time management, and the ability to teach individuals from diverse cultures and learning styles.

• Experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Holistic Care: Review healthcare services and medications for a dedicated group of individuals.
• Be a Clinical Mentor: Provide guidance and training to direct support staff on healthcare needs and safety.
• Advocate: Collaborate with physicians and families to ensure the highest quality of life for those we serve.
• Build Relationships: Truly get to know the people you support, celebrating their milestones and supporting them through challenges.
