Licensed Practical Nurse
About The Position
Lincoln Recovery is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a meaningful and rewarding role in helping individuals through detox, stabilization, and early recovery. The work environment is described as fast-paced, structured, and incredibly rewarding, with supportive leadership that values clear communication and teamwork. Nurses work from a central nurse station where clients come to them, providing a steady home base. The company encourages facility tours to help candidates determine if it's the right fit. Training and support are provided for nurses new to behavioral health.
Requirements
- Active LPN license in the state of Illinois
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to stay calm and organized in fast-paced situations
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
- Compassion, professionalism, and a team mindset
- Ability to work at minimum 1 - 12 hour shift per month

- SUD/MH experience
Responsibilities
- Complete nursing intake assessments and support detox treatment plans
- Conduct daily nurse visits and monitor client health status
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments
- Process labs and communicate results
- Maintain accurate, compliant documentation (HIPAA & regulatory standards)
- Respond to medical concerns with confidence and compassion
- Support clients through detox and stabilization
- Collaborate with providers, RNs, LPNs, and the clinical team
- Communicate with families when appropriate
- Coordinate hospital transfers and nurse-to-nurse communication
- Maintain medical supply inventory
- Participate in trainings and staff meetings
- Additional duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing
