About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an exciting Travel or Local job in Albuquerque, NM. This position involves providing direct nursing care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. The role requires monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure effective patient care and safety. The LPN will also be responsible for educating patients and families and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Requirements

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the applicable state
Current BLS/CPR certification required
Ability to work night shifts and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

Minimum of 1 year of recent LPN experience preferred
Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
Experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing settings preferred
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians
Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and medical records
Assist with patient assessments, vital signs, and daily care activities
Support patient safety, infection control, and quality care standards
Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care
Educate patients and families regarding treatments, medications, and care plans
Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations
Respond appropriately to emergency situations and patient care needs
