About The Position
Provides professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices. Responsible for screening walk-in patients, telephone screening (with protocols), medication/injection education, assist with procedures, cleaning wounds, dressing changes. Able to work in a team atmosphere, as well as autonomously. Delegates tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel UAP in accordance with demonstrated competencies and consideration to Scope of Practice. May be responsible for covering Medical Assistant job duties as needed.
Requirements
- Less than 1 year applicable experience
- Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
- Licensed Practical Nurse - Various
- Associate Degree
Nice To Haves
- Previous cardiac and endocrinology experience is preferred
