Licensed Practical Nurse - Cardio Wellness Clinic
About The Position
Join our Saint Luke's Cardio Wellness team on the Plaza as an LPN. This is a Full Time position with 4 10-hour shifts, from 7 am to 5:30 pm, with a rotating day off each week (Monday-Friday). Previous cardiac experience is preferred. The role involves providing professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices. Responsibilities include screening walk-in patients, telephone screening (with protocols), medication/injection education, assisting with procedures, cleaning wounds, and dressing changes. The ideal candidate can work effectively in a team atmosphere as well as autonomously. This role may delegate tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel (UAP) in accordance with demonstrated competencies and Scope of Practice, and may be responsible for covering Medical Assistant job duties as needed. We are seeking an experienced LPN with cardiac knowledge who is willing to learn. This is a task-oriented position that requires strong customer service, communication, and multi-tasking skills. Flexibility and a willingness to help the team where needed are essential. The team is committed to mutual support within their scope of practice and sharing knowledge for team growth and success.
Requirements
- Less than 1 year of applicable experience
- Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
- Licensed Practical Nurse
- Associate Degree
Nice To Haves
- Previous cardiac experience is preferred
- Experienced LPN with cardiac knowledge who is willing to learn
