About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) functions under the direction of the Physician, Nurse Supervisor, and Practice Manager. The LPN recognizes patients’ needs and symptoms in advance and provides care under the physician’s direction. The role includes preparing patients for exams, assisting during treatments, coordinating tests and follow-up care, and recording treatment in the medical record. The LPN also assists with patient and family education and demonstrates competency and skills to serve patients of all ages.
Requirements
- Graduate from a practical or vocational nursing program.
- Hold a current, active Licensed Practical Nurse license in the State of Georgia.
- Have a current American Heart Association BLS card prior to the hire date.
Responsibilities
