The Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) is a trauma-informed care agency focused on implementing our core values and providing support to people with developmental disabilities. We oversee a statewide system of supportive services that focus on ensuring the health and safety, supporting access to community participation, and increasing opportunities for meaningful employment. This position works under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) and requires substantial knowledge of skilled licensed practical nursing procedures to provide care for residents. The role involves administering medications, performing treatments, monitoring health and safety, assisting in emergencies, and providing direct care and programming assistance. The position also includes extensive documentation, communication with families/guardians, and participation in various health-related programs and meetings. Mandatory overtime is required.
