The Medical Care Coordinator is a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) functioning under the administrative and medical supervision of a Registered Nurse (Supervising Nurse or their designee). The Medical Care Coordinator is responsible for supporting, coordinating, and promoting a full range of health services for students and clients participating in Waterford Country School programs, including but not limited to Education, Specialized Trauma Treatment, Assessment, and Reunification Home (STTAR), Intensive Transitional Treatment Center (ITTC), Therapeutic Boarding (TPB), Children’s Outpatient Mental Health Clinic (OPCC), and Camp Cuheca. They will be a member of the medical team, assisting the nurses and consulting physicians to maintain standards of best practice and incorporating the agency’s practice models, including but not limited to CARE: Creating Conditions for Change model and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI). Hours are primarily Monday through Friday from 10 am to 6 pm. However, periodic availability on evenings and weekends may be required.
