Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Adult Inpatient Behavioral Health, PT 24 hr Days
About The Position
Join us as a Licensed Practical Nurse! This is a part-time position with 24 hours per week, working the day shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with every other weekend and holiday rotation required. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for TaraVista in Devens, Massachusetts, you will provide direct care and support to patients and their families, making decisions that impact lives. You will care for individuals in need of psychiatric, emotional, and substance use treatment, acting as a champion for patients and supporting the team. The LPN is responsible for maintaining a safe therapeutic milieu grounded in TaraVista's core principles, working under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN).
Requirements
- Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) by the State of Massachusetts
- CPR certification
- Knowledge of behavior health and substance use disorders treatment modalities
- Ability to develop a therapeutic relationship while maintaining professional boundaries
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in psychiatric, or substance use disorders inpatient care
- Experience in restraint reduction, de-escalation, and crisis intervention.
