About The Position

Join the Joyful Living Adult Day Program team in Charlestown to provide compassionate, person-centered care to adults and seniors. This role offers the opportunity to build lasting relationships with participants and work as part of a supportive, mission-driven team. The position follows a consistent Monday–Friday day-shift schedule, with no nights, weekends, or overnight shifts. Bilingual candidates, especially those fluent in Cantonese or Mandarin, are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program.
• Current Massachusetts LPN license required.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual ability, especially fluency in Cantonese or Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Assist with health assessments and participant wellness monitoring.
• Support the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Promote health education, wellness initiatives, and preventative care practices.
• Collaborate with Registered Nurses, physicians, specialists, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care.
• Help maintain a safe, healthy, and person-centered environment for all participants.
