About The Position
Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for its Emergency Department, a 53-bed unit at a Level 1 Trauma Center. The department handles a variety of medical emergencies, approximately 10% of which are trauma-related. The hospital is a 525-bed medical center, primary teaching facility, and home to the region’s only Level 1 Trauma Center within a 126-mile region. The Emergency Department has received the Emergency Nurses' Association Lantern Award for exceptional and innovative leadership, practice, education, advocacy, and research. This is a full-time, first-shift day position in Norfolk, Virginia. A sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates. The full-time hourly base pay range is $28.57–$43.04. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonuses. Pay within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
