About The Position

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Camber Children's Mental Health Hospital, Wichita KS. This role provides direct care and support to children ages 6 to 18 in a safe, trauma-informed environment. Camber gives children and families hope. As an LPN, you will make a meaningful difference by supporting children and families, working alongside a multidisciplinary team, and helping young people build resilience for a brighter future.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited nursing program; certification as an LPN
Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Kansas; valid driver’s license and auto insurance
Three to six months of related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must be at least 20 years old to apply.
Pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check required.

Responsibilities

Provide direct, compassionate care to children and adolescents
Support the nursing and clinical team in delivering high-quality, trauma-informed care
Monitor patient safety and participate in crisis response as needed
Collaborate with other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for each child

Benefits

Starting Pay: $23-25 per hour, based on education and experience, plus differentials
$2,500 Sign-On Bonus
Shift Differentials: +$3.00/hour for weekday evenings/overnights, +$5.00/hour for weekend evenings/overnights
