Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
Current and Unrestricted LPN licensure in the State of Louisiana required
At least one (1) year of related experience in a hospital setting
Successful completion of CPR and Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 30 days of employment

Psychiatric experience preferred

Responsibilities

Dispense medication as ordered by the physician
Provide individual nursing care as ordered by the physician
Management of the therapeutic milieu
Participates as an active member of the multidisciplinary team with input into patient treatment planning
Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment
